Its specific leaf structure, stem thickness, density of flower sites and limited node spacing, and dark hues make Bubba Kush stand out in any garden. Specifically speaking, it’s known for large bud structures with hues ranging from purple to green.
Bubba Kush is a strain with a thousand stories behind it. While not as ‘lore-intensive as an OG Kush, Bubba Kush tends to bring about heated conversations across the cannabis world. While we’ve had the opportunity to speak with “Bubba/Matt” who tells a tale that stems from connections in Florida and ties the Bubba to OG heritage (Triangle to OG bagseeds), we’ve come to understand that its true genetic orgins are unknown.
Cheese Feminized is famous for it’s cheesy smell, and it’s high potency. Widely regarded as a “connoisseurs” strain, it’s definitely one of the best all rounders.
Cheese feminized is an Indica/Sativa hybrid, leaning very strongly towards Indica.
FPOG (AKA Fruity Pebbles OG) by Alien Genetics was a limited-time offering from the breeder. This sweet hybrid takes genetics from Green Ribbon, Granddaddy Purple, and Tahoe Alien to create a tropical, berry flavor reminiscent of the cereal. The euphoric effects will keep you happy when you’re stressed and help you catch some sleep when faced with insomnia. Sit back, relax, and pour yourself a bowl of FPOG!
Moon rock is listed on dispensary websites ranging from $25-$30/gram. This may seem steep for a gram of marijuana, but the product speaks for itself in quality. Snoop Dogg himself can be seen giving his expert opinion on his Dogg Pound member’s cannabis.
Nearly everybody has heard of the marijuana strain known as Northern Lights. It is quite possibly one of the most famous cannabis strains of all time, and for good reason. Winner of the most cannabis awards world-wide, this pure Indica is sure to produce an almost instant body-high.
“Northern Lights originates from Holland and can be found in the genetics of many of the most popular hybrids smoked today.”
Being one of the most potent Indicas known to mankind, it provides great medicinal attributes to help combat stress, anxiety, nervousness, nausea, depression, chronic pain, back pain, arthritis and other body-related illnesses. We encourage you to re-read that list if you want too, because we just listed a lot of medicinal benefits. That’s because Northern Lights is full-bodied and extremely potent medication that is world-renowned as a natural pain reliever.
The buds in this batch of Northern Lights are beautifully grown, sticky, dense, and extremely delicate. The smell is nothing to brag about but the buds have a lemon-zest scent. The smoke produced by Northern Lights is smooth, earthy, with an after-taste of pine. A winner in our book; this strain deserves the reputation it has built over the years. Our only wish is that it wasn’t such a rare strain to get a hold of in California.
Pineapple Kush cannabis strain is not to be confused with the infamous and elusive Pineapple Express popularized by the 2008 comedy (though some say it was the inspiration). Pineapple Kush has garnered an almost legendary reputation as one of the Emerald Triangle’s most sought after strains, particularly in the Pacific Northwest, and I’m honored to share my thoughts on it.
Appearance, Taste, and Smell of Pineapple Kush
Pineapple Kush is a hybrid mix of Pineapple and Master Kush (some great genetics if you ask me). It tastes as the name indicates: tangy, fruity with hints of caramel and a distinct minty finish. For me, it’s one of those “feel-good” strain smells and instantly lifts my mood (my brain is obviously prepping for enjoyment).
It has dark, dense, green nugs that come wrapped in glistening white crystals and red-orange hairs, which give off an incredibly strong sour-citrus smell. It always reminds me of Fruity Pebbles, so much so that I often have a bowl after my bowl.
Purple Haze gets its name from the well-known song by Jimi Hendrix and its purple flowers. Purple Haze is not only known for its purple colour, but also an abundance of white trichomes (small resin secreting stalks/hairs) and high potency. In general, the original 100% Sativa Purple Haze is considered a myth, all cannabis strains are said to be able to develop purple flowers under optimal conditions. Our beautiful Purple Haze Haze is a cross between different Haze strains and an Afghan Indica, as a result of which the flowering period is shortened to 8 to 9 weeks. It has the thick resin production of an Indica, but the rising high of a Sativa. Purple Haze consists of 60% Sativa and 40% Indica.
Among the most famous strains worldwide is White Widow, a balanced hybrid first bred in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds. A cross between a Brazilian sativa landraceand a resin-heavy South Indian indica, White Widow has blessed every Dutch coffee shop menu since its birth in the 1990s. Its buds are white with crystal resin, warning you of the potent effects to come. A powerful burst of euphoria and energy breaks through immediately, stimulating both conversation and creativity. White Widow’s genetics have given rise to many other legends like White Russian, White Rhino, and Blue Widow. Still, many growers prefer cultivation of the original White Widow, which flowers in about 60 days indoors.
